What is Glamour?
Glamour consists of figures that are envied by consumers who wish to imitate this. Glamour presents people as transformed objects with perfect bodies that people can somehow attain. Glamous is basically what people envy. It is the center of advertising. Celebrities are used to display glamour by selling products and flawless models are used as well.
Glamour was cultivated in the film we saw today, in which the boil products were displayed as being effective where we can all have perfect skin. We never saw celebrities or models, but the main character in the film saw his advertisements with using such people to sell his pitch to the producer. People who have boils envy those who don’t, so if you tell them it’s possible to have the same skin as those who have perfect skin, they’ll buy the product. The main character did go crazy because he felt as though glamour wasn’t real and he thought about advertising too much. Instead, he was cursed with the one thing that was giving him trouble when he couldn’t come up with an ad to sell a product to eliminate boils.
